The Svalyava Orphanage Infant Quarantine Room is now complete! Thanks to all of the donors!
The Infant Quarantine Room is used frequently in the orphanages (as you can see the room already has occupants). Whenever a child gets sick, they are quickly taken out of their groupa (the group of children they live with) and moved to the Quarantine Room so that they do not make the other children sick. Since medicine and medical care are expensive, the orphanages can not afford to have many children sick. Once the child is well, they can go back to their groupa.
Having a new, clean, and functional Quarantine Room is a comfort to not only the sick children, but to the caregivers as well. Here are a few of the pictures we received along with the receipt from the orphanage Director.
